Donations

The ReStore's merchandise consists entirely of donations from individuals, contractors, retailers and other businesses.  If you have something you would like to donate you can email us or call the store at (304) 720-USED.

The ReStore will pick up any donated item that is too big to fit in a standard car.  Our regular pick up days are Monday-Saturday.  To schedule a pickup call (304) 720-USED

Here is a list of materials accepted by the ReStore:
The ReStore does not accept paint, chemicals or liquids of any kind.  We also reserve the right to refuse donations because of their condition or potential disposal costs.
Appliances
We only accept appliances that are in working order with no repairs needed and less than 10 years old.
     -Dishwashers (no metal tubs)
     -Ranges & Cooktops
     -Washers/dryers
     -Oven (wall or free standing)
     -Refrigerator
     -Range hood
     -Microwave oven
     -Free standing wood stoves

Architectural Items
     -Columns, antiques, windows, mantelpieces, etc…

Cabinets/Countertops
     -Individual cabinets or full sets- kitchen or bathroom. Must have all doors and drawers. Must be in good
       condition.  Countertops must be in good condition with minimal chips or damage.

Flooring
     -Carpet -new only
     -Carpet padding - new only
     -Hardwood/parquet flooring - must be free of rot and in usable quantities
     -Vinyl tile, sheet vinyl, linoleum - any quantity of new material
     -Ceramic tile

Doors
     -Pre-hung or door slabs
     -Exterior or interior - no rot, cracks, or missing panes
     -Entryway units
     -Sliding Glass - must have all tracking, no cracked or foggy glass

Electrical
     -Most usable items will be accepted

Furniture
     -Home and office furniture
     -No mattresses and box springs

Hardware
     -Complete sets of door hardware, hinges, etc… Any quantity of nails, screws, hangers, connectors, etc.
     -Handtools and power tools

Plumbing
     -Sinks - all types of kitchen and bathroom sinks (no rust)
     -Bathtubs - fiberglass, or architectural cast iron or steel
     -Shower enclosures - all components
     -Faucets - complete faucet sets only
     -Misc. plumbing hardware
     -Water Heaters - new w/minor cosmetic damage, less than 5 years old
     -Pipe/PVC/Metal/Copper - four foot length and over any type of pipe supplies and fittings
     -Commodes -must be VERY CLEAN and in GOOD working condition. Tank lids must be included.

Lumber and Building Materials
     -Dimensional - 4 ft. lengths or longer of treated or non-treated. Must be free of nails, screws and rot.
     -Sheet goods - 1/4 sheets or larger of particle board or pressboard
     -Paneling - 1/2 sheets or larger
     -Trim and molding -4 ft. lengths or longer
     -Plywood - partial sheets are accepted
     -Shutters
     -Insulation - new only

Lighting
     -Good condition, complete, in working order
     -Ceiling fans

Storm Windows and Doors
     -With all windows and screens, and all tracking or framing. No bent frames.

Windows
     -Double-hung, picture, bay - complete window units with all sashes, no rot, no cracked or foggy glass
     -Casement
     -Single fixed-lite windows any size
     -Metal and wooden screens
     -No single pane windows


Roofing Materials/Gutters
     -New shingles - open bundles are OK, but no stuck-together shingles
     -Rolls of roofing material
     -Gutter and downspout materials in full pieces with no rust or damage

Sheet Rock (Wall Board)
     -Full or half sheets
     -Drywall Joint Compound

Siding, Soffit and Fascia

HVAC
     -Vents (Floor, Ceiling, Return)
     -Furnaces & Air Conditioners - Clean, in good condition and less than 10 years old
     -HVAC units/AC units, less than 10 years old
     -Thermostats


Just about anything you can buy in a hardware store or home center are items the ReStore will accept.
